Speech Anxiety
Speech anxiety is a learned behavior that can happen to anyone. If you have anxiety before a speech know that you can control it! The first step in controlling speech anxiety is to realize almost everyone has it and that you're not alone. Second make sure you have a topic that you are comfortable and familiar with. Third, know your audience and surroundings. Forth, think positively! Fifth step is to practice, practice, practice. The sixth step is to ask for help from your instructor or find a treatment program. The seventh and final step is to NEVER give up! If you keep a positive outlook you will feel more confident which will help your nervousness disappear! Trust me try it!
