Assertiveness

In relationships where one spouse is dominant over the other has been known to be one of the top reasons why marriages fail. Of course the number one reason is money, but that is another story. For relationships to work the couple needs to learn how to create equality in their marital status by being assertive. When this occurs couples will communicate with each other better. Being assertive doesn't just help couples relationships, it helps when your at your job, with your friends, and among strangers. People need to know your feelings to be able to understand you better. If you just sit back and hide them that is when major problems occur. It isn't something you're born with, you have to learn it. Once you do your problems minimize!
